Our Chef

Iván Más

Our chef, Iván Más, whose passion for cooking was awakened at the age of five during an endearing family paella, has dedicated his life to perfecting his art. From his childhood, surrounded by his mother and grandmother’s kitchen, to his formal training at the Escuela de Hostelería and his internships in the best restaurants in Alicante, he has cultivated an insatiable curiosity and a deep love for good food. In addition, his training at the School of Art between the ages of six and fifteen has given him an aesthetic sensibility that is reflected in the presentation of his dishes, turning each meal into a work of art.

Under the guidance of Iván Más, Antiqvarivm’s cuisine is a true testimony to culinary tradition, respecting the artisanal processes of yesteryear while adapting to modern times. This fusion of classic and contemporary is reflected in each dish, which not only aims to satisfy the palate, but also to tell a story of tradition and evolution. Based on the rich and healthy Mediterranean cuisine, and without losing sight of the typical Canarian food, our Chef’s proposal is enriched with subtle French touches, the result of the knowledge and passion that is cultivated from the School of Hotel and Catering.

One of the fundamental pillars of Iván Más’s cuisine is his commitment to local products. The use of top quality raw materials, sourced from local businesses, not only guarantees freshness and flavour, but also supports the local economy.
